Each year on April 22nd, more than a billion people celebrate Earth Day. The first Earth Day was celebrated in 1970, when Senator Gaylord Nelson created the holiday as a way to have people pay attention to how we are treating our planet. Senator Nelson hired a young activist named Denis Hayes to help him organize the first Earth Day and it was a success. Here at Bundle, we love celebrating holidays with you.
