Cue singing *It's the most wonderful time of the year...* We had such a blast at Chrismtas Con this year! We knew our celebrity game night was going to be a lot of fun, but nothing could have prepared us for the wacky hijinks that ensued. Our scheduled celebrity guests - Erin Cahill, Tyler Hynes, and Ashley Williams - entered the stage to lots of applause and cheers. Our audience definitely came ready to play. Despite the fact that we didn't get to actually explain the rules to them prior to the game, they threw themselves into the action as we paired them with a fan from the audience and prepared to get our Bundle on.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so here is a video of the night's antics because it tells the story better than we ever could. Big thanks to the fan group Tyler Hynes Shirtless (instagram @hynesshirtless) for this video. We promise we will protect your identity as you continue to do the good work of providing the people with shirtless Tyler Hynes content. Our celebrity guests certainly said YES AND to game night in a big way when Tyler got this Act It Out card. Cheered on by Erin Cahill and the rest of the audience, Ashley Williams encouraged Tyler Hynes to get up and go to the front of the stage to act out the card, telling him that the needed to see "the whole Bundle." (Thanks for the product placement there, Ashley.) Not only was the attempt a rousing success, but it made us all laugh...a lot.
As if having three amazing celebrity guests wasn't enough, we got a surprise celebrity edition halfway through the game. We spotted Jesse Hutch in the audience and asked if he wanted to come on stage for a little bit of Bundle fun, and he was totally game. (Yes, pun intended- sorry you know we can't help ourselves.) Jesse was the "phone a friend" for every team, providing morale support and laughs all along the way. When Ashley Williams was tasked with compiling the perfect gift for a Christmas party with items found in the room she and Jesse ran around the stage using set pieces and then proceeded to go into the audience and collect items from fans. The laughter was immense and we definitely all felt like winners at the end of the game. The actual winners of the game night received some epic prizes from Ultimate Wireless, LLC. These prizes were no joke - ring lights, fitness trackers, phone charges that looked like festive Christmas lights - they brought their A game and we are so grateful.
We are going to do another blogpost with more info about the Christmas Con weekend, but we were so happy to be back doing in-person events. Not pictured in this post (but don't worry it will be in the next): our Santa beard masks. We hope you are all having a wonderful holiday season and look forward to hearing about all of your adventures!
